OPALE winecellar

Opale is an extra-luxury climatized wine cellar, evocating a precious black stone wedged and gem-setted in a white, smooth base that enhances the equilibrium and purity of its design, creating a contrast that emphasize the elegant break between the elliptical shape of its vertical body and the roundness of its foothold.

Opale by Sand & Birch is around two meters high and can stores up to around 60 bottles of wine.
Apart from being an unique design concept-work, Opale is also technologically very advanced: its door has an automatic opening, that can be activate by a remote control-zapper, or even by touch!

This artistic and highly-designed wine cellar is entirely projected and built in metal and hard polyurethane, while the door glass is exclusively made of insulating glass, that guarantees different levels of thermal and light insulation. Opale is able to self manage temperature controls and specific humidity of all red, white and sparkling wines, in order to guarantee all different preservations requirements.

On the inside, Opale's precious contents are lighted up by a Led lightning system.
The smoked glass of its door allows to the passionate wine collector to catch a glimpse of the precious bottles which Opale keeps elegantly care of.

TOWER winecellar

72 bottles, three climatized zones

Majestic and "towering", Tower is another piece coming from the hi-end collection born by the collaboration between Ellemme Cantine and Sand & Birch Design.

Since the beginning of their work together, the two companies shared a common vision, based on the attempt to realize a new generation of wine cellars characterized by the classic quality of made-in-Italy products and by an innovative taste for the design, in order to offer a great experience to all wine amateurs and widen the range of people interested in having a totally different kind of object.

Establishing this kind of sinergy between two all-italian companies represents a new experience in the field of wines preservation: while Ellemme has provided the best manufacturing and technical know-how, Sand & Birch's designers Andrea Fino and Samanta Snidaro added a new contemporary breath in the design of wine cellars and expanded the perspectives of all wine amateurs and professionals with a series of objects characterized by a strong visual impact.

Tower's shape become immediately the focus of every setting, thanks to the impressive strenght and grandeur of its design. The bent external walls are realized in thermoformed wood (maple and solid oak), lacquered with black polyester. This aesthetical solution represents something totally new and never seen before in the field of wine cellars: Sand & Birch's goal was to create an object that could be seen as the tower of a futuristic fairytale, preserving a precious treasure-chest made of 72 bottles of wine.

Even in the inside, Tower's preserving solutions are designed for being elegant and functional at the same time: three different compartments especially studied for white, red and sparkling wines assure the best degree of temperature and humidity; each compartment is equipped with four etractable shelves made of stainless steel.

Internal lighting is provided by a LED system, for a better and long-lasting use of energy.

HT LUX winecellar

70 bottles, one climatized zone or two climatized zones

HT Lux is a rigorous and elegant parallelepiped in oak and maple wood, with Inox finishings, anti UV glasses, Led system lighting and a capacity for about 70 bottles lodged on removable shelves.
HT Lux design is traditional and classic, since it is part of a product range conceived for a wider target. But, at the same time, HT Lux wine cellar doesn't give up with the reasons that make the success of all Sand & Birch's creations: purity of lines, high class design, first choice materials, and the most modern technologies joined to the hand-made care of details and of the whole production process.
HT Lux can fit every setting and complete with class and a modern touch hotels, restaurants and pubs' interior decoration and furnishings.

REGENCY winecellar

80 bottles, one climatized zone or two climatized zones

Regency's design stands out for its extremely plain and stark style, but like the others wine cellars of the Luxe series, this products has a great aesthetic impact and a powerful personality.
Regency can hold 80 bottles of wine and is realised with great quality materials, such as maple, oak and stainless steel, in order to assure the highest functions and longlasting of the wines it protects.
Regency is provided with Ellemme's climate control system, based on the union between temperature and humidity and is available in two versions: single or double temperature, in order to satisfy different needs. Internal lighting is assured by LED system, a guarantee of low energy consumption and an aesthetic choice at the same time.

WINEBAG Leather winecellar

18 bottles, one climatized zone

Thought for hotel room and resort, but even for home, the "Winebag" contains up to 18 bottles of vine or 8 bottles of champagne. Its shape is unique in the refrigerated wine cellars field.
Realized in high density polyurethane, the standard version is totally white or black lacquer; the "de Luxe" version is covered with leather. it is not only a functional object to store your favourite wine under ideal conditions but it is even a piece of furniture.

WINEBAG Climatized Wine Cellar we designed for Cantine Ellemme has been included in the "ADI Design CODEX Lazio" 2012.
